Ministry of Labor signed on Tuesday at its main offices a Memo of Understanding (MOU) with the German Federal Employment Agency aiming to re-activate Agreement of Jordanians’Employment in Germany in various sectors including nursing sector. The MOU was signed by Minister of Labor Nayef Isteitieh and the Executive Director of the German Federation Employment Agency for International Relations Markus Bercher.

Minster of Labor stated that MOU signing is part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance cooperation relations between Jordan and Germany in labor fields and promote Jordanian competencies in Germany.

The Minister stressed that this MOU is a complement to the previously signed MOUs aiming to follow-up employment of Jordanians in required fields of German labor market in coordination with the German Federal Employment Agency. Furthermore, the MOU shall enable Jordanians acquire practical and professional experiences in one of the largest developed economies in the World. He noted that acquiring a job opportunity at the German labor market requires learning German language and achieving the required proficiency levelas indicated in previously signed agreements by the German side.
