The National Employment Strategy consists of three axes, which are (1) the vision compared to the reality of the current labor market, (2) a comprehensive and systematic diagnosis of the labor market, (3) the future outlook. The National Employment Strategy also takes into account several elements in the implementation stages by gradually replacing trained Jordanian workers with foreign ones, supporting employment projects and programs, and enhancing training of Jordanians according to the needs of the labor market, in addition to support education, vocational training and a culture of self-employment, promoting investment in employment, beside supporting people with special needs, reducing structural unemployment, adding to support projects to create opportunities in the labor market, preserving workers’ rights (social security, insurance, etc.) and promoting tripartite dialogue.
